Editor – I enjoyed reading the paper on a hyperacute neurology team1 which certainly seems to produce impressive results. I was left wondering however, with a consultant-delivered service, about their education and training responsibilities. Does the team have these? If so, how do they impact on the service? If not, how is their expertise transmitted to the next generation?
