In their discussion of the record of determinations relating to the Medical Practitioners Tribunal of Dr Raied Haris,1 the authors referred to ‘a doctor who undertook vaginal and breast examinations without consent, and which were deemed not to be clinically indicated but sexually motivated’.
This was an inaccurate description of the determinations from the tribunal. The sentence should have read ‘a doctor who undertook vaginal and breast examinations without consent, and which were deemed not to be clinically indicated’.
The authors apologise to Dr Haris for this significant inaccuracy. The online version of the article has been corrected.
