We discuss studies demonstrating that small molecule inhibitors of epigenetic regulatory proteins can block pathogenic mechanisms associated with rheumatoid arthritis, focusing on the effects of these inhibitors on synovial fibroblasts – fibroblast-like synoviocytes.
