The target audience was medical students but a few foundation doctors were also in attendance. The conference also helped to increase RCP engagement with medical students and foundation doctors. The day was co-chaired by Professor Kate Thomas (vice dean, University of Birmingham) and Dr Andrew Macleod and Dr Kanwaljit Sandhu (RCP regional advisors for the West Midlands).
