While challenging, the 2015 Paris Agreement – to keep warming well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels – provides a crucial 5-year window to unlock these benefits and transition towards a healthier future.In 2016, the UK Health Alliance on Climate Change – of which the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) is a founding member – was formed to respond to this challenge.
