Emergency heart assessment centre transfer criteria from ambulance service

Ongoing chest pain
plus
Primary angioplasty call
  • ST segment elevation >1 mm in two contiguous limb leads.

  • ST segment elevation >2 mm in two contiguous chest leads.

  • Left bundle branch block or paced rhythm if the clinical picture is acute myocardial infarction.

  • Patients resuscitated from cardiac arrest with electrocardiography criteria as above.


or
High risk acute coronary syndrome
  • ST depression >2 mm in two or more contiguous leads.

  • Deep symmetrical T wave inversions in two or more contiguous leads.
