Soc Work. 1993 May;38(3):273-80.

Abstract

The Persian Gulf War focused public attention on the problems military families face in coping with military-induced family separation. This article highlights some of the unique stressors faced by active-duty, national guard, and reserve military families. Practice guidelines are presented to assist social workers in designing interventions to help these families.
